Project Summary:

Thomas Andrews was the designer of the ill-fated Titanic. He comes from Comber, a short cycle ride from the Harland & Wolf shipyard in Belfast where the Titanic was built.

 

This trail, comprising interpretation panels and an audio guide, tells the story of Thomas Andrews, his relationship with the town of Comber, and how the town and his family influenced him. He was one of the 1,517 who didn't survive the sinking of the ship on its maiden voyage...
